Department of Mechanical Engineering of SRICT had organized a virtual industrial visit of India's largest solar power plant having capacity of 648 MW  (Anadi Solar Power Plant - Tamilnadu) for 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering students on 11/05/2021.  Students got awareness about factors that need to be considered before installation of plants, project planning and execution, contingency situation management and many more. This tour is helpful for students in understanding designing, planning of resources, utilization of resources and maintenance of plants and how to carry out all these activities within a stipulated time period. This visit is very much helpful to students in corelatting theoretical concepts of Industrial Engineering , Renewable Energy Engineering, Control engineering and Production Technology in practical use. Session was ended with a question answer session.
