Industry visit to PGP Glass Pvt ltd Kosamba
6th SEM Glass & Ceramic Technology students attended an industry visit to PGP Glass Pvt ltd Kosamba on 6th April 2022. The students were given a short presentation on the overall production and quality control processes in the Technical Training Cell. Students were taken to the plant laboratory where the quality testing and control processes are explained to them. Students felt happy enough after having undergone such an elaborate technical exposure. Mr Apurba Chakrabarty accompanied the students on this visit as a coordinator.

industry visit to Colourtex ltd, GIDC, Vilayat
An industry visit to Colourtex ltd, GIDC, Vilayat was arranged for Chemical Technology Sem 4 & 6 students on 04/04/2022. The visit was arranged by Dr. Nilesh Badgujar and was accompanied by Mr. Harshal Patil. The students were taken to the plant by the technical officer and HR officer Mr. Ketan Fanasi. They were shown the unit operations carried out for the manufacturing of dyes and pigments, Utility, Warehouse & Quality control, ammonolysis process etc.Finally, a technical briefing was done by Dr. Mahesh Kumar Vashi explaining the importance of health and safety in Chemical industries.
