Expert Talk on Role of electrical engineer in maintenance
The Department of Electrical Engineering of UPL University of Sustainable Technology organized an Expert Lecture on “Role of electrical engineer in maintenance” for 5th Semester BE & 3rd semester DE Electrical Engineering students on 03/11/23. Expert lecture was delivered by Mr. Tejash Chaudhari Assistant system engineer - TCS. He has briefed students about electric safety, preventive maintenance, Testing of induction motor and transformer in Industries especially Chemical Industries. The Expert Lecture was well appreciated by the students. Students enthusiastically attended the session and cleared their doubts.

Internship Review @ Electrical Engineering
The Department of Electrical Engineering has organized the second Internship Review Meeting for the 8th Semester students on 09/04/2022. Department has appointed Dr. Jalpa Thakkar, Mr. Sourav Choubey & Mr. Hiren Jariwala as a reviewer panel. Reviewers went through student's presentations and guided them regarding their Internship work. Reviewers have given their valuable suggestions in order to improve their Project/Internship.

Industry visit at 5 MW Solar plant at Solarism, Bharuch
Department of Electrical Engineering, SRICT & IE(I) Student Chapter Electrical Engineering have jointly organized an Industry visit at 5 MW Solar plant at Solarism, Bharuch for 6th and 4th Semester Electrical Engineering students on 05/04/2022. On the site 20,000 solar panels are installed with 3 Inverter units. This plant can produce an average of 23 MW per day. The generated power will be transmitted to the AMOD substation. During the visit all the inverter units operation and solar panels were demonstrated amongst the students.

Online Expert Lecture on "Effective Time Management Skills"
The Department of Electrical Engineering of SRICT has organized an Online Expert Lecture on "Effective Time Management Skills" for the Diploma Engineering Sem 2 (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environment Science and Technology and Chemical Technology) students on 31st March, 2022. Expert lecture was delivered by Mr. Kartik Shah, Leadership Coach, COLLABACT Vadodara. Students learned about how to decide goals in Life and an effective action plan to achieve them. Mr. Shah interacted with students regarding deciding priority work and utilization of time for priority work.
