The Department of  Chemical Technology organized two virtual industrial visits for 6th & 8th Sem of B.E.Dyes & Pigment Technology students on 17/02/2021. During this virtual industrial visit of Lanxess pigment manufacturing unit and Vipul Dye Chem. Ltd. the students learned the manufacturing process of inorganic pigments, use of scrap as raw material, unit operations, required process conditions, testing and applications of pigments in various sectors like paint, plastics, food colours, pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. The overall virtual industrial visit will be beneficial for improving their practical knowledge and future development. This was explained by Dr. Nilesh Badgujar (Associate Professor-Dept. of Chemical Technology) under the guidance of Dr. Omprakash Mahadwad (Head- Dept. of Chemical Technology).
