1.2 DURATION OF COURSE – 1 Year (Two Semesters)
- 70: End Semester Exam
- 30: Internal Mid Semester Exam will be assessed on the basis of regular assignment/tutorial submission

- Any Graduate in the field of Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics / Mechanical Engineers from Industry. (Industry experience is desirable)

1.6 MODE OF CONDUCT
Online + Offline (Approximately 08 hrs per Week)
1.7 COURSE OUTLINE
- Understanding of PLC Programing principles, Trouble Shooting that enables their application in an industrial environment.
- Practical understanding of the DCS system architecture, system design, module selections, field applications, programming.
- Understanding of Cyber Security awareness, need, system architecture, related policies.
- Understanding of Safety System Diagnostics, Performance parameters, Error Codes.
- Understanding of field instrumentations, P&ID, specifications, measurement and controls.
- Understanding instrumentation, Automation and Robotics and its application in one’s own area of work.
- Robotics and its applications in industries.
1.8 COURSE CONTENT AND CREDITS
- Both the semester (I&II) will be of 14 weeks.
- Theory classes will be conducted on Saturday (Online + Offline Mode) - Total = 8 hrs/week.
- 08 Hrs is equal to 01 Credit for all subjects.
- Passing Criteria will be 40% in all individual components.
