Department of Electrical Engineering, SRICT & IE(I) Student Chapter Electrical Engineering have jointly organized a Virtual Industry visit at NTPC, Thanda for 3rd Semester Electrical Engineering students on 24/09/2021. NTPC Thanda has an installed capacity of 1,760 MW. During the virtual tour the students were described the various sections of Unit 4 of the plant. They have also shown the Boiler furnace, Ash Handling Plant, Control Room, Generator and Turbine sections. Students enthusiastically attended the session and asked their doubts.
