Department of Environmental Science & Technology & Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) students' chapter (393135/SRICT/EN) in association with IQAC, Nature Club of SRICT, UPL ltd and Gujarat Pollution Control Board celebrated "Ozone Day" on 16/09/2021. Guests of the programme were Mr. S.B. Patel (Scientific Officer, GPCB Ankleshwar), Mr. K.R Panchal (Team Lead Environment), Mr. Ajay Pancholi (Sr. Manager) and other team members from GPCB and UPL ltd. To make the session more interesting, on the spot "Slogan Competition" was organized for students followed by the presentation by GPCB members and students of the Environment department on Ozone depletion and Montreal protocol. At the end, the best two slogans among all were selected and given the prize. The event was coordinated by Mr. Kunal Majmudar and Ms. Amishi Popat under the guidance of Ms. Pratibha Gautam-HOD, DEST.
