Department of Mechanical Engineering of SRICT had organized a virtual tour of  India's largest Steel Product plant (Jindal Steel Plant Dolvi) for 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering students on 06/05/2021.  Students got awareness about key components of the steel plant, working of blast furnaces, burners, conveyor systems  and many more. Uniqueness about this virtual tour is that in this tour students have understood the factors those needs to consider while replacing the heart of the steel plant ( Blast Furnace ) with minimum time period and minimum loss in terms of money. This tour is helpful for students in understanding maintenance, erection, commissioning of plants and how to carry out all these activities within a stipulated time period. Queries of students are solved by faculties.
