Department of Chemical Technology, SRICT organized an online webinar on the topic of Golden opportunity for B Sc. Graduates to become Technologists/ Engineers on 30/06/2020.The expert panel of this first-ever state-of-the-art webinar constituted Dr. Dilip Udas, Director of Ultraconserve Pvt Ltd., Dr. Dhnanjay Rane, Director, Alchem Synthon Pvt Ltd., and Mr. Mansukhbhai Vekaria, Director, Shree Colosperse Pvt Ltd.
The aforementioned webinar was meant for BSc [Chemistry] final year students. Out of 101 students registered, nearly 70 students participated into it. Prof. Dr. Shrikant J. Wagh presided this online meeting. Several fundamental queries like why to and how to pursue a B.E. course after B Sc degree, what are the major edges of a B.E course over to a M.Sc course and scope of diversification of job profile, future professional development were answered by the exponent panelists explicitly.
Prof. Shrikant J. Wagh elucidated on the scholarship schemes regarding tuition fees waiver and lodging in hostel, transportation fees waivers. Dr. Omprakash Mahadwad elaborated on the scope of placement of the B.E. graduate freshers and also scopes for start ups and entrepreneurship. Three elite alumni members present on this webinar were Ankit Mishra, Priyanka Shivde and Ashwin Bhawaskar who equally put valuable inputs and shared their experiences. The program ended with Prof. Shrkant J. Wagh having offered a flurry of good wishes and a plenty of best of luck to the students for their future endeavor and a welcoming invitation to visit to the campus of SRICT.
