WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY celebrations by Department of Environmental Science & Technology at Shroff S R Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology jointly with Rotary India Environment mission on 5th June 2020.
To promote environmental awareness among students, Quiz, Essay Writing and PPT Making competitions were organised  for Diploma Engineering and Higher Secondary students. *640 Students from various states like Bihar, Odisha, U.P. Rajasthan, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Jammu, Gujarat,  Daman* have participated in the competition. The event grabbed a huge response from the student fraternity covering the entire India and was well appreciated.
The topics of competition involved Environmental awareness, Biodiversity etc.  In the concluding and prize distribution function, Vice Chairman Shri Ashok Panjwani , PDG Pramod Jejurikar, PDG Manmohan Singh, Principal Prof. Shrikant Wagh, Trustee P. N. Parmeshwaran, Vice Principal Prof. Snehal Lokhandwala , HOD Prof. Pratibha Gautam motivated all the students  and congratulated the environmental warriors.
The program was attended by Past District Governors, Presidents of various district clubs, HODs and faculties of SRICT, Parents, Principal and faculties of different schools and students.
