The Computer Engineering Department, SRICT had organized a Workshop on “Multimedia, VFX and Metaverse” in association with IQAC for 2nd semester Diploma and B.E. students on 10/06/2022. The session was delivered by Mr. Amar Trivedi, Regional Academic Head, Arena Animation Mumbai. Mr.Trivedi gave VFX effects in Aashiqui 2 Movie.

He explained concepts of multimedia, Virtual reality, Augmented reality, Mixed Reality with examples. He also created a live 3D avatar of our students. He explained CFX, VFX in detail. He practically showed the use of blender software. Experts focused on Metaverse and current demand of VFX which covers graphics designing, gaming, cartoons, visual effects and multimedia in the IT world. Another expert Mr. Mohit Hariyani, Centre Head of Arena Animation, Bharuch accompanied him.

Students really appreciated this workshop and they really enjoyed it. This workshop is a great combination of “Fun with knowledge".
